Planning your project
Design and Development
Preparation
Whatever the project is, it is very helpful to provide any information and content
you may have before work begins
— including text, images and reference materials you may
have collected. Be prepared with questions, ideas and project
goals. This helps to create an estimate and begin the design
and development process.
Partnering
Successful solutions
need both designer and client. I work closely
with you to understand your objectives, and develop a plan for
design that fits your budget and goals. I'll create a website or identity program
that represents your image, is practical and leaves your clients
with a lasting, positive impression of your business.
Depending
on the project requirements, we may partner with programmers,
copy writers, editors, etc. For example, a "storefront" website
may require a specialist
to program the code used to design the online "shopping cart"
and set up the card purchases through the internet.
Maintenance
We are available to maintain your website or identity program and keep it up
to date with your current information.
Client Communications
My business is based
in the San Francisco Bay Area while part of my year is spent
in Mexico. The bulk of my business is handled via
the internet. We share a steady stream of communications by email,
phone, or Skype.
Critical progress visuals are posted on your client page
for review, or sent via email. Fed Ex is used when
required. Print-ready digital artwork is delivered by email or
FTP. Contact
me to discuss working together on your project.
